Distilled and bottled on Lammermoor Station in Central Otago, Lammermoor Special Reserve Double Cask Whisky is a premium single malt expression. This handcrafted whisky begins with natural spring water sourced on-site and is aged in locally sourced Central Otago Pinot Noir barrels made from French oak, followed by Port barrels. The region's dramatic climatic conditions, with extreme hot and cold temperatures, encourage the whisky to breathe in the wood, enhancing the ageing process. The result is a whisky with fabulous colour and maturity for its age, offering a creamy, full-bodied profile with a smooth, rich aftertaste. This is a limited bottling; once it's gone, it's gone until the next batch release.
