This limited release gin liqueur takes inspiration from Japan. Based on traditional Japanese umeshu, this liqueur has been crafted using our Garden Gin as a base and steeping New Zealand-grown green ume fruit for several months, along with rock sugar to balance the tartness of the fruit.
This limited release gin liqueur takes inspiration from Japan. Based on traditional Japanese umeshu, this liqueur has been crafted using our Garden Gin as a base and steeping New Zealand-grown green ume fruit for several months, along with rock sugar to balance the tartness of the fruit. Made in the Honkaku style, meaning no additives have been used and the liqueur is made from only alcohol, sugar, and ume. The resulting umeshu, has a wonderfully rich flavour, with lifted florals, almond, and apricot. We have used Nanko ume, which are highly prized for their thin skins and intense flavour.

Light and sweet. Absolutely gorgeous flavour. Fabulous straight and in a highball. Could drink ten of them in a row. (Would probably regret it the next day but still)
