Made entirely from Cryer NZ malted barley, The Sweetwater is matured over five years with the majority of ageing in STR French oak barrels before a finish in ex‑bourbon casks. This careful wood selection results in a complex yet approachable spirit. On the nose, it presents a sweet bouquet of honey, orange and vanilla. The palate evolves through candied orange, ripe apricot and honeycomb, then finishes dry and peppery, with lemon and pip notes and a supportive tannin structure from the French oak. Bottled at 41% ABV, it's non‑chill filtered and contains no added colour, preserving its natural character.
