Fairlight is Waiheke Whisky’s world‑first blend, combining the distillery’s peated single malt with selected premium unpeated whiskies from global distillers.
Crafted in collaboration with master distiller Alan Winchester (ex‑Glenlivet), Fairlight merges New Zealand’s island‑aged peated single malt with select unpeated world whiskies. Named after the iconic 1980s synthesiser, it symbolises a synthesis of hemispheres and flavours.
This 40% ABV blend is matured for at least five years in American oak (first-fill bourbon and virgin oak), offering notes of honeyed malt, orchard fruits, coastal salinity and smoky oak with a dark chocolate finish. Developed during the expansion of Waiheke’s distillery, Fairlight supports both innovation and tradition.
