Island Gin Navy Strength

A powerful 57% ABV navy strength gin crafted off-grid on Great Barrier Island using local mānuka and bush honey, organic juniper, coriander, lemon myrtle, angelica, ginger, tarragon and other botanicals for an intense, herbaceous flavour.

Nicknamed "Shark Alley", this small-batch navy strength gin is distilled off-grid in a copper still on remote Great Barrier Island, five hours by barge from the mainland. It brings together organic Macedonian juniper, locally harvested mānuka and bush honey, coriander, lemon myrtle, angelica, ginger, tarragon and other New Zealand botanicals. Bottled at a bold 57% ABV with no chill filtration, it delivers a floral and herbaceous nose of lemon and juniper with dried garden herbs. The palate reveals eucalyptus bitterness, dried citrus peel and sweet herbal notes, finishing driven by fresh green juniper. Made in sustainably produced Kina-inspired recycled glass bottles, it’s not for the faint-hearted and is the recipient of Best New Zealand Gin at the 2024 World Drinks Awards, Double Gold at NZ Spirits Awards 2023, and Gold at the 2022 San Francisco Spirits Competition.
