A limited-edition single malt whisky matured in a trio of ex-Oloroso sherry, ex-bourbon, and ex-Pinot Noir casks, offering notes of burnt toffee, vanilla cream, sun-scorched nectarine, and pepper.

The Cardrona "The Falcon" Single Malt Whisky is a distinguished expression from Cardrona Distillery, crafted from a harmonious blend of three hand-selected casks: an ex-Oloroso sherry butt, an ex-bourbon barrel, and an ex-Pinot Noir barrique. These casks, some of the oldest in the distillery's inventory, were filled in 2016 and married together to create a whisky of exceptional depth and character. Bottled at 52% ABV, non-chill filtered, and retaining its natural colour, "The Falcon" showcases a complex profile with aromas of crème brûlée, stone fruit, peppery spice, orange peel, and oak varnish. The palate reveals layers of caramel, vanilla, allspice, candied fruit, and nectarines, culminating in a rich and rewarding finish.

This expression has been recognized as a Category Winner in the 2024 World Whiskies Awards for Small Batch Single Malt (12 Years & Under), highlighting its excellence in craftsmanship.
